Our Story
DMB Equestrian Transport is proudly owned by Dawn Blackwell-Smith, who has had a passion for horses throughout her life. With experience running a livery yard, Dawn understands the needs of horse owners and is dedicated to providing exceptional transport services.

Firstly, we are fully certified and licensed by DEFRA to transport ‘your’ horse. The 2022 built 3.5 tonne horsebox has been specifically built for DMB Horse Transportation by Bennington Horseboxes. It is built to the highest standards with safety being paramount being the perfect way to transport your horse.

The horse area is fully enclosed with no breast bar and two rear facing compartments, fully reinforced bulkhead, tinted opening windows with safety bars, internal LED lighting, fan, antislip flooring and camera system to view horses from cab at all times.

There has been no corners cut for human passengers either! With 3 seats in the cab, built in hands free, sat nav, full colour monitoring camera system to view horses and reversing camera. There is a comfortable day living area for storage (perfect for picnics) two saddle and two bridle racks.
